The Board of Students Development (BSD) looks after the protection of rights and supervises the welfare activities of the students of post-graduate departments of the university and each conducted college or institution of the university and each affiliated college. BSD promotes and co-ordinates the different student’s activities for better corporate life. BSD tries to nurture students' mental, physical, cultural growth with various activities to improve their overall personality development and to make them civilized Indian citizens to compete in the globalized world.

MESCOE Students’ Development Board & National Service Scheme Jointly Organized an online webinar on Marathi Language Day (मराठी दिन, ) on 5 th March 2021 from 2 pm to 4:30 pm . "मराठी दिन" is celebrated on every year across the Indian states of Maharashtra and Goa. This is celebrated to honour the birth anniversary of famous Marathi poet Vishnu Vaman Shirwadkar, who was popularly known as 'Kusumagraj'. The day is celebrated to recognize and honour the greatness of Marathi literature.
The guest of honour was an eminent speaker Dr. Angha Mandavkar madam explained how to improve soft skills using Marathi . She shared lots of information about importance of marathi in day to day life through student development activity. She told about how marathi helped to strongly understand science to all. The way how engineering students give the contribution to make marathi language strong. There are lots of carrier opportunities available in Marathi.

Dr. Murlidhar Devidas Amte commonly known as Baba Amte, was an Indian social worker and social activist known particularly for his work on the rehabilitation and empowerment of people suffering from leprosy.
On the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, a guest lecture of Mr. Manoj Ghokhale was organized by MESCOE NSS Program Officer Mr. S.B.Shinde to shed light on Baba Amte’s life and the importance of various activities he implemented in society as he was inspired by Mahatma Gandhi.
Mr. Ghokhale informed about Baba Amte’s Anandvan and Somnath Experiment. Anandvan was founded in 1952 and Baba Amte developed Anandvan as a self-contained ashram. He established Somnath in 1967 on 1200 acres of land allotted by the Government of Maharashtra in the Tadoba buffer zone to rehabilitate leprosy-afflicted people from Anandvan. He also told how the students can contribute to the work carried out in the projects of Anandvan and Somnath.
The guest Lecture was attended by 70 students and professors of the MESCOE college. The lecture was very inspiring and motivating for students to encourage social awareness and develop social skills among them.

The live telecast of “FIT INDIA MOVEMENT”, inaugurated by Hon. PM Mr. Narendra Modi was arranged for the students of Modern Education Society’s College of Engineering, Pune. A short walk toward a healthy lifestyle was also conducted to motivate the students for healthier lifestyle.
NSS program officers, sports in-charge, staff members from both college and about 60 NSS Volunteers were present for the program.
Modern Education Society’s College of Engineering, Pune with the Boa-rd of Student Development, Savitribai Phule Pune University organised an awareness Workshop on Self Defence’ under the banner of ‘Nirbhay Kanya Abhiyaan’ on 28th Feb 2022. The workshop was intended to create awareness of the importance of self-defence among girl students. It covered a wide range of topics including the development of a critical mindset, decision making, self-confidence, and training about health, law, and student activities. During the session, different activities were performed by selected girl students from each department.
To target women’s health, Modern Education Society’s College of Engineering, Pune with the Board of Student Development, Savitribai Phule Pune University organised One Day Workshop on the Importance of Health of Girl Students” under the banner of ‘Nirbhay Kanya Abhiyaan’ on 25th Feb 2022. The workshop marked the importance of proper diet and its awareness followed by training in health activities. For this insightful session, we were accompanied by Dr. Meenal Lad - P. G. Director and Head, Department of Pharmacology Akurdi Ayurvedic College and Research Centre, Pune.
