Model United Nations (MUN) Club is a place where students of MESCOE will have a chance to not only develop their soft skills but can also participate in International Model United Nations events to broaden their horizons and make international connections. Students have the opportunity to improve their communication skills, critical thinking skills along with diplomatic skills. It will help students to develop their overall personality and will help build their confidence.
The club aims to educate students about current events, international relations, diplomacy, and the United Nations agenda and to enable students to become more engaged in and knowledgeable of international political issues and the UN while developing their communication, deliberation, leadership, critical thinking, and debate skills. This club will help to inculcate social confidence among students and to simulate real-time problem-solving skills.

Participants in Model United Nations conferences, known as delegates, are placed in committees and assigned countries to represent, or occasionally other organizations or political figures, where they represent members of that body. Delegates are assigned countries before the conference, along with receiving a topic, or topics, that their committee will discuss. They conduct research before conferences, formulate position papers and come up with policy proposals that they will then debate with their fellow delegates in the committee, staying true to the actual position of the country or organization they represent

A guest session on “MS Program in Germany” was organized for SE, TE, and BE students of all engineering programs to create awareness about higher education opportunities in Germany. The session was delivered by Ms. Janvi and Ms. Sanjana from RWTH Aachen International Academy, India Office, Pune, who provided detailed insights into admission requirements, application procedures, and academic expectations of German universities.
The resource persons also emphasized the importance of German language proficiency in enhancing career prospects, internships, and global exposure. The activity aimed to guide students in planning their higher studies strategically while motivating them to explore international academic pathways aligned with emerging technological domains. This activity is initiated by Dr. A. R. Patil and coordinated with support of Wadia Green Club member.

Green Fest 2026 was a jungle-themed eco fest organized by the Wadia Green Club of Modern Education Society’s Wadia College of Engineering, Pune, on 20th and 21st February 2026 to promote environmental awareness, sustainability, and biodiversity conservation among students. The fest included four engaging events conducted over two days. On 20th February, The Great Green Hunt, an eco-themed treasure hunt across the campus, encouraged teamwork and environmental learning through nature-based clues. Wheel of Eco Wonders, held near the Bank of Baroda area, was an interactive activity where participants spun a wheel to answer eco-questions, perform dares, and learn environmental facts in a fun way.
On 21st February, Eco-Creation Carnival – Turn Trash into Treasure was conducted in 110 Lab, where teams created innovative products using recyclable and waste materials, promoting reuse and sustainable thinking. Eco-Art Extravaganza, a poster-making competition in Room 117 (Drawing Hall), allowed students to creatively express themes like forest conservation, wildlife protection, and sustainable living. The fest concluded with a valedictory ceremony where winners were felicitated. Overall, Green Fest 2026 successfully encouraged students to connect with nature and adopt eco-friendly practices for a greener future. This activity is coordinated by Dr. A. R. Patil with green club volunteers

On February 14, 2026, the Wadia Green Club along with SE Mechanical Engineering students actively participated in the “My River My Valentine” riverbank cleaning drive at Bhide Bridge, Pune, organized by Worship Earth Foundation in collaboration with the Pune Municipal Corporation. The initiative aimed to restore the Mula-Mutha riverbanks through systematic waste removal while promoting environmental responsibility and institutional commitment toward sustainability. Beyond the physical cleanup activity, the Wadia Green Club introduced a unique Plant Gift Initiative, presenting table plants to participating NSS, Nature, and Green Clubs from various schools and colleges.
This thoughtful gesture not only appreciated the dedicated efforts of volunteers but also symbolized spreading love for nature on Valentine’s Day. Each plant carried the college club logo, proudly reflecting the institution’s environmental vision and outreach. In recognition of its active contribution, the Wadia Green Club was felicitated with a Trophy of Appreciation by the Worship Earth Foundation. By combining non-biodegradable waste removal with the symbolic gifting of plants, the event successfully blended civic action with long-term ecological awareness. This activity is initiated by Dr. A. R. Patil and successfully coordinated with support of Prof. J. R. Pansare and Green Club Volunteers.
SAE BAJA is an International intercollegiate competition organized by the SAE. Teams of students from colleges all over the country design and build small off-road buggies. The goal is to design, manufacture and race off-road vehicles that can withstand the harsh elements of rough terrain. There are multiple dynamic events, usually four per competition, as well as a single four-hour endurance race. The dynamic events include hill climbs, maneuverability events, rock crawls, and suspension & traction events.

Team Gyrfalcons from MES Wadia College of Engineering concluded their remarkable journey in the eBAJA SAEINDIA 2025 season on a high note. Competing against 80 qualified teams from across the country, the team proudly secured an All India Rank of 10, earning a spot on the podium. Additionally, they achieved an impressive 9th position in the Static Events, held in December 2024.
The team's dedication, innovation, and teamwork throughout the season reflect the spirit of excellence that MES Wadia COE strives to instill in its students.
